Pastor Adam K. Easley, aka Pastor AMK, 53, went to be with his Lord, January 30, 2014, at his residence in Hutchinson, Kansas. He was born December 8, 1961 in Portland, Oregon, the son of James and Johnnie Easley. An ordained minister with the Methodist Church and Full Gospel Church, he also was a law enforcement security specialist.
A masterful pianist, he loved to write music and teach people how to play jazz and gospel music. He also specialized in the workings of computers, where he repaired and rebuilt them.
On January 29, 1994 he married Darlene H. Elliott, who survives and with whom he founded Inter-Christian Ministries. Other survivors include, his mother; a son, Johnathan Siller, a step-son, O. J. Herron; a step-daughter ; a step-granddaughter, LaTasha Herron; numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, and, nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, and, a brother.
Per his request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life has been set for Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 12:00pm at Halls Chapel A.M.E. Church, 711 E. 11th, Newton, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts to the Pastor Adam Keith Easley Family Memorial Fund and left in care of the funeral home.
