Obituary

Anita Jayne Donaldson, 56, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away with her loving family by her side on November 15, 2020 at Hospice House of Reno County, Hutchinson, Kansas.  The daughter of Robert and Carol Cook, she was born on November 6, 1964 in Springfield, Missouri.  She retired after 17 years as a Residential Trainer Leader for TECH, Inc., in Hutchinson, Kansas - she would assist in anyway needed from grocery shopping to cleaning.

She loved to camp, fish, and enjoy a night at the Starlight Drive-In.  A huge fan of criminal television, she wanted to meet Joe Kenda from Homicide Hunter.  She would not allow you to interrupt her when Survivor was on or you wouldn't hear the end of it.  Thanksgiving and Christmas were always her favorite time of the year.  Anita enjoyed the casino as well - she loved to play blackjack.

Megan always said that her Mom was the one that always kept the family together.  Travis always was her baby boy who loved her very much.  Malakai says that Grandma was nice, kind and we all love her. Lily wanted everyone to know that her Grandma is now a shooting star!  Nariah loves and misses Grandma.

She shared 32 years of marriage with her husband, Bill Donaldson.  He survives of the home.

Other survivors include her children; daughter, Megan of Colorado Springs, Colorado, sons, C.J. of Beaumont, Texas, and Travis of Hutchinson, Kansas; sister, Melinda; brothers, Michael, Daniel and Thomas; 5 grandchildren, Malakai, Lillianna, Nariah, Alexander, and noah.

Anita's dream was to travel to Paris and she will make it there with the help of her family, who will take her to realize her dream.
