Anna Lou Schneweis, 72, passed away November 11, 2014 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born December 12, 1941, the daughter of Elmer and Lona Greenfield in Hutchinson, Kansas. She returned to Hutchinson in 1022 after moving from Texas in 1976.
She attended Hutchinson schools and worked as a medical aide. She was at on time a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. A lover of arts and crafts, she was particularly fond of sewing and doing embroidery work.
In 1965, she married Leon Schneweis in Hutchinson, Kansas. He died in August 1996. On October 20, 2014 she married Donald Lee Board. He survives.
Other survivors include 1 daughter, Johna; 1 step-son, Dennis, 2 step-daughters, Lori and Regina, 1 sister, Leona Jean Bush; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild and many step-grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. As well as Sashene, a girl she raised. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter, Diana Lynn.
Per her request cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held and announced at a later date.
