Arthur Lee Haynes was born October 19, 1941 in Rockford, Illinois to Pauline " Polly" Louise Haynes ( nee Cole) and Archie Leroy Haynes.  He passed away at 79 years of age at Hospice House in Hutchinson, Kansas on April 24, 2021.

Arthur moved to Hutchinson, Kansas as a child.  He graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1959 and joined the United States Army later that year.  Arthur was stationed in Kaiserslautern, Germany, and received an honorable discharge back in the United States in 1962.

He worked as a printer for Lowen Company and R.L. Polk in Hutchinson, Kansas; Midco Plastics in Enterprise, Kansas; and KD Label, which was bought by Jacob North in Lincoln, Nebraska, from 1983 until his retirement.  He moved back to Hutchinson, Kansas in 2014.

Arthur enjoyed playing tennis, Sudoku, crossword puzzles, and watching movies.  He also loved cats.

He was preceded by his parents and sister, Wanda Smith.

He is survived by daughter; Anisah Haynes ( Michigan) ; grandchildren; Jaya Jogi ( Missouri), Nabilah Abdalla ( New Hampshire), Ibrahim Haynes ( Michigan)  and Mustafa Abdalla ( Michigan), and cousin Susan Cole ( California) who was like a daughter to him.

Arthur was cremated, no service will be held.
