Asher Joseph Smith, 21, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at his home in Nickerson, Kansas.  He was born at the home of his parents in South Hutchinson, Kansas on November 25, 1999, the son of Jacob and Joy Smith.

Asher graduated from Nickerson High School in 2018.  He loved nothing more than " Game Night" with his brother Tyler and cousin Eli and his circle of other online friends.  His cat, JJ, adored him almost as much as the rest of us that knew him.

Survivors include:  his parents, Jake and Joy Smith of Nickerson; brother, Tyler Smith and his partner, Savannah Winkler of Manhattan; grandmother, Gayle Maier of Idaho; grandmother, Carolyn Davies of Hutchinson; great grandmother, Patricia Falke of Missouri; great grandparents, Beans and Helen Smith of Hutchinson; and numerous beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.

Asher was preceded in death by: grandfather, Floyd Smith; grandfather, T. Gene Davies; great grandfather, Albert Falke; uncle, Clark Davies.

A celebration of Asher's life will be Friday, May 7, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at  Riverside Baptist Church, 1100 West 21st Avenue, Hutchinson, Kansas.
