Obituary

Barbara Ann Swann, 83, passed away May 23, 2018 at Hospice House of Reno County, Hutchinson, Kansas. The daughter of Bernard and Marie Ganter, she was born in Galveston, Texas on November 9, 1934. She was a retired staple of the Reno County Red Cross in Hutchinson.
A member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, she served as a certified medical transcriptionist at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for 33 years. In her spare time she loved to work in her flower garden tending to her flowers. She was a member of the John Henry Newman Honorary Society and a local and national member of the American Red Cross.
She is survived by 1 daughter Debra M. Adams; 1 son, Ronald W. (Debbie) Graber; 1 brother, Paul A Ganter; 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, I brother, Bernard and 1 sister, Patricia.
A gathering for family and friends will be held Friday, June 1, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Old Mission – Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. A reading of the Holy Rosary will take place Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 10:00 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church with life celebration mass to follow at 10:30 am. Burial will take place at Fairlawn Burial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and left in care of the funeral home.
