Bertha Marie Daniel, 78, passed away October 30, 2012 at Wesley Towers Thorne Care Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. She was born to James and Otha (Powell) Russell on February 26, 1934 in Center, Arkansas. Bertha enjoyed drawing, pencil sketching and collection lady bugs. She was a member of the Eastwood Church of Christ, Hutchinson. She married Alfred H. Daniel, Jr. on July 20, 1950, he survives. Other survivors include daughters, Brenda Pardee, Roberta Atkinson (Don); son, Allen Daniel (Dona); brother, Owen Russell (Marie); sister Ermal Behrens; five grandchildren; eleven great-grand children and two great-great-grand children. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Powell; and sisters, Claudine and Deulah. Visitation is Tuesday from 4-8pm with the family present from 5-7. A chapel service will follow Wednesday at 10 am, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Wesley Towers, Thorne Care Center, 3705 Asbury Drive, Hutchinson, Ks 67502.
