Betty Lou Goodman was born February 11, 1934 on the family farm at Albert, Kansas to John and Katie (Diehl) Moore. She died at Hospice House in Hutchinson, Ks. on February 1, 2012 at the age of 77. Betty was a retired baker and cook for Furr's. Preceding her in death was her husband, Harold Dean Goodman; 2 sons, Earl Eugene Goodman and Larry Dean Goodman; a great-grandson, Cutter Profett; brothers and sisters. She is survived by a son, Michael Goodman of Haven, Ks.; 2 daughters, Carla (Bob) Barnes of Hutchinson, Ks. and Connie Kirby of Sterling, Ks.; a brother, Glenn Moore of Albert, Ks.; 5 grandchildren, Jason (Shari) Goodman, Tracy (Wiley) Proffett, Christina (Eric) Pierce, Joey (Karla) Pierce, and McKenzie (Jeremy) Flickinger; 8 great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Matthew, Mason, Landon, Zackary, Aiden, Kinly, and Jacey. Memorials have been established with the Medora Community Bible Church, 8311 Medora Road, Hutchinson, Kansas 67502. Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 6, 2012.at Medora Community Bible Church at 12:30 p.m. with burial at 3:00 p.m. at Great Bend Cemetery, Great Bend, Kansas.
