Betty M. Simpson, 64, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. She was born July 16, 1955 in Manhattan, Kansas to Sybil ( Stanley ) and Max Soupene.

Betty truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with friends and family.

She was the loving mother of Rafaila ( Robert ) Brockish and Charlette Jenkins; she was the proud grandmother of Ashley Jimenez, Jamie ( Jawonn ) Bell, Amber ( Aaron) Delgado, Shanice Brockish, Kelsie Hover, Trevor Hover, and Dylan Hover; she was even prouder of her great grandchildren; Samara, Marisa and Daniel Jimenez, Olivia, Armani and Adelina Delgado, Sithandra and Julian Bledsoe, Anais Brockish, Teagan Hover and Elias Delacruz; also nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Her surviving siblings are Wanda ( Rudy ) Garcia, Mary Brown, Laura Hunt, and William Soupene.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, two sisters, Hazel Jackson and Dorina Mendoza, and 1 brother, James Farra.

Family, friends and others whose lives were touched by Betty are invited to a celebration of her life on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at The Father's House Church, 1505 E. 20th Ave., Hutchinson, Kansas.
