Robert D Lucas (77) of Hutchinson, KS, passed peacefully on February 15, 2024.
In 1946, Bob was born to Johnny and Bonnie Lucas in Goodland, KS.
Bob is survived by his wife, Georgia, of 58 years, two daughters, Shauna Eash and Robyn Harbert, grandchildren, Lucas (Shayla) Avery, Cody (Erica Hays) Lucas, James (Kali) Avery, Jared (Alexia) Eash, Tyler (Amanda) Eash, Linday Eash, Kelsy (Caeden) Fly, and seventeen great grandchildren, sister Donna Konrade and niece, Tammy Priest.
Bob graduated from Denver Colorado Barber college in 1965. He was employed as a barber for many years, and with Grant County Feedlot. Bob retired from Cargill Salt after 30 years.
His great love, besides his family, was animals. Especially horses, cattle, dogs and cats. He also ran numerous 5K's with his beloved canine best friend, Indigo.
Robert's family will be hosting a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 1:00pm, at the Good Samaritan Society Chapel, 810 E 30th, Hutchinson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you consider  donations to KSDS in Washington KS.
