Bret Wesley Roberts, 58, passed away at his home on December 22, 2020. On March 7, 1962, Bret was born to his parents Richard and Dona Roberts in Hutchinson, KS.  After graduating from Wichita State University, he became an elementary teacher for the Hutchinson school district. After teaching, Bret worked as a manager for Kmart and Electrex. On January 6, 2009, Bret met Bain Mills online and they were officially married on September 6, 2016. Bret loved collecting fairy and dolphin figurines, playing piano, writing stories, and playing board games. He was an incredible cook. He would often switch between using his mother's recipes and experimenting with new ones. Bret was a beloved husband, father, caregiver, provider and he will be dearly missed.

Bret was preceded in death by his parents of Hutchinson, KS, and Brother-in-law Benny Williams of Great Bend, KS.

Survivors include his older siblings Mike (Joy) Roberts of Thornton, CO, Pat (Cindy) Roberts from Pigeon Forge, TN, Dan Roberts from Burrton, KS, Diane Roberts Williams of Hutchinson, KS, and Tim (Sherrie) Roberts of Plevna, KS; and his daughters Kelly and Grace Roberts.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials to be made to the Bret Robert's Memorial Fund and left in care of the funeral home, Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home 528 N Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.

The family invites friends and family to come say their final goodbyes from 1-4pm on January 6, 2020 at Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home.
