Brian Logan Bookout, 44, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away December 6,
2020 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. The son of
Richard and Darlene Bookout, he was born September 23, 1976 in Hutchinson,
Kansas. He worked at Tyson Foods as a maintenance technician.

He was an avid K-State sports fan of all sports, loved all racing – dirt track and
drag racing, he also enjoyed racing 4 wheelers. His friends could always turn to
Brian to be "Mr. Fix It" – he could work on, repair and get back in "running" shape
any car, motorcycle, 4 wheeler – you name it and he could fix it. In the
summertime while he was growing up, Brian could be found at the lake camping
and fishing as often as he could and loved the times that he spent with his
grandfather at the lake. He was known as a "jokester" – he loved to laugh, make
his friends laugh, and have a good time. He was a devoted husband and uncle,
and served as the leader of his family – he did his best to raise his nieces and
nephews.

On November 24, 2012 he married the love of his life Jennifer Renee LaShell in
Salina, Kansas. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include: his father, Richard; 1 sister, Rachelle; 2 nephews,
Dakota and Devlin; 2 nieces, Jadin and Gracelynn; aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his mother, and grandparents.

Friends may sign the register book Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from 9:00 a.m.
– 5:00 p.m. at Old Mission – Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson,
Kansas. A graveside celebration of life will be held Wednesday, December 16,
2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Boulevard, Hutchinson,
Kansas. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Brian Logan
Bookout Memorial Fund and left in care of the funeral home.
