Carol Grygier, 72, passed away February 14, 2025 in Hutchinson, Kansas. She was born in Abilene, Kansas, March 21, 1952, to William Dunlap and Alice Maynhart. Carol was an avid quilter, she enjoyed going to the Mid Atlantic Quilt show in Virginia every year with her daughter Wendy, she also enjoyed cross stitch, painting and was very crafty. She was an avid bowler on several teams, enjoyed camping, sunbathing, being outdoors and going out on the water with her husband Marc for bass fishing. Carol was in civil service for 32 years in the 128th Brigade at Fort Euestis. She is survived by her husband, Marc of 53 years; daughter, Wendy; brothers, John Dunlap (Sharon) of Beatrice, Nebraska, Bryan Dunlap (Angie) of McPherson, Kansas and Tom Westbrook of Flordia; niece, Sara; step siblings, Bonnie, Jude, Sonny, Kristi and Jill; foster siblings, Catherine, Rosetta Houser and Stanley Gasswint; brothers in law, Dean and Dale Grygier; pets, Simba, Freckles, Buddy and Sandy and many other loving family members and friends. Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Peg Dunlap and mother, Alice; grandparents and other aunts and uncles.
