Carol Ann Henson, 65, was born December 26, 1958, to Henry and Gertrude Irving, in Fairfield, Pennsylvania. She passed away peacefully at her home in Hutchinson, surrounded by family and her beloved dogs, February 28, 2024.

Carol was preceded in death by  her mother and father, brother, Greg Irving, and her great-granddaughter, Olivia Hamby.
She is survived by two sisters, Gloria Orebaugh and Sandy Byington of Great Bend, KS, her son, Ronnie Hamby Jr, daughter, Anna Brunk, numerous grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, and her fur babies, Tipsy and Cuddles.

Carol Ann was employed by the Durham County School System for many years, and found great joy being a bus driver. She loved spending time with family and friends, helping out neighbors and anyone else in need. Carol was active in her Faith through CrossPoint Church. She was well loved by the community of Hutchinson for her work and acts of kindness.

A service of remembrance will be held at CrossPoint Church, 1410 E 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS, Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 10:00am officiated by Pastor Andy Addis. A graveside service will be held the following Saturday, March 16, at 10:00am, at Hoisington Cemetery. Memorials have been designated to CrossPoint Church in Hutchinson, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.

Carol was greatly loved, and will be truly missed; those who touch our lives, stay in our hearts forever.
