Charles Leslie Martin, 50, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at his home in Hutchinson, Kansas. Born to Annetta Gail Leslie Martin and Charles Eugene Martin on October 7, 1968, Charles ( Leslie ) was a native of Burkburnett and Lubbock, Texas, but had moved to Kansas to be with the love of his life, Rhonda Martin.

He worked on oil rigs for a living before he became ill due to liver disease and complications from a liver transplant in 2016.

He is survived by his bride Rhonda, a son Charles Jr. of Combine, Texas, a daughter Kelly Martin Henegar and her daughter Lily of Lubbock, Texas, a stepdaughter Hannah Lara, and 2 stepsons Peyton and Elijah Lamb of Hutchinson, Kansas, 2 brothers Greg and Jim of Wichita Falls, Texas, and his sister, Cheryl Conway of Lubbock, Texas.

The family, as strong advocates of organ donation, asks that everyone register to be an organ donor.  A celebration of life will take Thursday, July 18th, 2019 at 1:30 p.m.  at the Friendly Bingo Palace at 1st and Washington in Hutchinson, Kansas.  Pastor Anita Crane will be presiding over his service.
