Charlotte Lindahl Turpen Dimmick (Lindie)

Lindie passed peacefully on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Hospice House after a short illness. She was born in Hutchinson, Kansas on May 17 ^th , 1934 to Frederick and Caroline Turpen who are both deceased.

She married her high school sweetheart, William E. Dimmick on June 15, 1952, who preceded her in death in 2008.

Lindie is survived by her daughters, Sheli Carey (Bryan) and Sheri Corwin. She also had another (daughter by another mother) Patty Higgins and a brother Monte Turpen.

Her grandchildren are: Shana Carey Hofmeier (Andy), Matt Carey, Brandon Corwin (Gabby Gonzales). Her great-grandchildren are: Destiny, Elijah, Tristan, Tyler, Austin, Caden, Cali, Sophia, and Abigail.

Others deceased are: son-in-law Randy Corwin (Sheri) and grandchild Andrew Corwin, and a brother Tom Turpen.

She had so many great friends, nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed but now she is reunited with her loved ones that have passed before her.

Per Lindie's request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hutchinson Public Library, as she loved to read.
