Cleta Van Wye, 78, passed away in Hutchinson, Kansas Tuesday, November 22, 2022, surrounded by family.

She was born in Wichita, Kansas, to Allen and Maxine Ward, August 2, 1944.

Cleta loved to crochet, knit, spending time with her grandchildren and going shopping with her granddaughter, Mystery, who never rushed her in stores.

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Jason), Kim (Wes) and Sandra; son, Kenny (Stella); sisters, Pam Surface and Kathy Huffman; 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Cleta is preceded in death by her parents and husband, James Van Wye.
