Obituary

Clinton Ray " Bear " Kindy, 65, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away May 14, 2020 at his home in Hutchinson, Kansas.  Clinton was born June 28, 1954 to Ray Raleigh Kindy and Mary Ann Kirkpatrick Kindy in Wellington, Kansas.

Clinton graduated from Wellington high School in 1972.  After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served from 1972- 1978.  He was stationed in Vietnam.  Clinton served on the Intrepid air craft carrier as a gunner.

After returning home, Clinton worked numerous jobs.  He found his passion in the wrecker business, especially in the heavy wreckers.  No job was to big for him.  Clinton retired in 2013.

Clinton had a love of nature and animals.  Fishing was his favorite past time.  He had many hobbies, including motorcycles, boating, RC airplanes and making fishing rods.

In 2016, Clinton and Connie Cook Kindy were joined in marriage.  They were sweethearts from childhood.  On November 19th, they would have celebrated 4 years of marriage.

Survivors are:  Connie Kindy of the home; brother, Denton " Dave" Kindy of Wellington, Kansas; sisters, Karen Kindy Tucker of Independence, Kansas, and Janice Kindy Strong of Cherryville, Kansas; many nieces and nephews.  Clinton also had 3,  4- legged boys, Mikki, Mike, and Bubba. Clinton was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Mary Ann Kindy.

Per his request, cremation has taken place and military honors inurnment will be held at a later date.
