Obituary

Cristina Louise Stockton passed through the pearly gates at her home the weekend after her 60th birthday.  She was born November 15, 1959 in Lubbock, Texas to Richard and Wilma ( Narron ) Lees.  Cristina graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1977.  She worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant throughout most of her life, and had a special place in her heart for the elderly.  She enjoyed spending time with animals and listening to music.  Her most recent enjoyment was becoming a grandmother for the first time.

Cristina is survived by: daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Butch Buckner of Arlington, Kansas; granddaughter, Nora Buckner; brothers, James Brown of San Jose, California, Christopher Brown of Hutchinson, Calvin Brown of Sterling, Kansas; sisters, Diana ( Lees) Cook of Waynoka, Oklahoma, Lori ( Lees ) Hood of Sharpsville, Indiana, Monica ( Brown ) Frye of Nickerson, Kansas; one aunt; and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.  She was preceded in death by; mother, Wilma Lees; father, Richard Lees, and stepfather, Gail Brown; and brothers, Jonathan Lees and Scott Lees.

Services will be held in the red brick Tudor homestead in the northwest corner of Fairlawn Burial Park on December 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.  A potluck dinner will follow the service;  bring a side dish and reminisce.  Burial has already taken place.
