Cynthia F. Jewett, 70, passed away March 5, 2015 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. The daughter of Floyd and Marjorie Steinbeck, she was born in Joplin, Missouri, January 12, 1945. She was a retired home day care provider in Hutchinson for over 20 years.

She loved developing arts and crafts, however, her focus was as a devoted mother to her family. She married Albert P. Jewett in March of 1975 in Hutchinson, Kansas. He preceded her in death on July 14, 2013.

Other survivors include 3 sons, Chet, Bob, and, Rick Chesterman; 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial gifts be made to CASA Services of Reno County and may be left in care of the funeral home.
