Daniel K Dauber, 65, lost his hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer on October 23rd, 2023. He was born May 5, 1958, in Hutchinson to Carl Jr and Leona Dauber.
Dan was an avid fisherman and deer hunter. Some of his favorite times were spent on the banks of the Smoky Hill River in search of monster catfish.
Dan was preceded in death by his father and infant brother, Raymond.
Dan is survived by his mother, sisters, Tena Dauber, Sheri (Terry) Gaskill, Nancy (Charles) Tucker, brother, Dave (Diana) Dauber, nephews, Adam (Tracy) Tucker, Steve Dauber, and nieces, Laura (Jade) Schiewe and Emily Rowe. He took great joy in his great nephews and nieces, Jaden and Brookelyn Rowe, Wyatt and Emmett Dauber, Carlie and Macey Schiewe, and Willa and Coralee Tucker.
Our hearts are broken, but we are blessed to have had him in our lives and are grateful that he is at peace.
Dan strongly supported the Disabled American Veterans and donations can be made in his name through Heritage Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial is planned.
