Darlene May " Lucky"  Moore, 90, passed away May 20, 2020 at Pleasant View Home in Inman, Kansas.  A native of Hutchinson, Kansas, she was born May 22, 1929, the daughter of Ordie W. Jones Hanson and Minnie A. Blocker Jones Hanson.  She was a retired employee of the Reno County Courthouse.

Darlene, " Lucky" was a determined woman, who not only enjoyed the outdoors, but she made sure to teach, show, and instill in her family the value of hard work.  To "Lucky" her greatest treasure was her family and a multitude of friends.

She was married to Donald Moore who preceded her in death.

Survivors include 2 sons, Roger and Douglas Mumford, both of Hutchinson, Kansas; 1 daughter, Rebecca ( Chris) Scholl of Columbus, Nebraska; 1 sister, Viola Steen of Newton, Kansas; 4 grandchildren, Erica ( Bryn) Cech, Nicolette ( Jon) Beirmann, Eugene Wales, and Sherri ( Michael) Estes; numerous great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters, Virginia Carrol and Valva McLaren, 1 brother Virgil Jones, Sr., and 1 daughter, Janne Knard.

Cremation has taken place and a private family inurnment will take place May 27, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, Kansas.  Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice Care of Kansas and left in care of Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home, 528 North Main Street, Hutchinson, Kansas 67501
