David Donald Hathaway, 95, passed away on December 27, 2020 at Mennonite Friendship Communities in South Hutchinson, KS.  On August 4, 1925, David was born in Fort Scott, KS to his parents Robert and Lavina Hathaway.  David married the love of his life, Rosezetta Foss on August 13, 1951. He worked many jobs from farming to Cessna, and worked hard his entire life.

Survivors include his wife Rosezetta Hathaway; 1 sister, Rosalee Ford, 1 son, Donald ( Carolyn )Hathaway; 3 Daughters, Karen (Gerald) Sweeden, Polly (Doug) Withroder, and LeEtta (Nathan) Mourn; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

David was preceded in death by his parents and 4 sisters, Dolly Hillyard, Jessie Bartlett, Lily Mills, and June Valentine.

In lieu of flowers, family would like memorials to be made for Kindred Hospice, 120 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501 and left in the care of the funeral home at Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501.

A service will be held on January 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Riverside Baptist Church, 1100 West 21st Street, Hutchinson, Kansas.  Burial following at Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Blvd., Hutchinson, Kansas.
