Debra (Deb, Debbie) Diane Peterson, age 68, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away peacefully on July 17th, 2025 at her daughter's home in Wichita, Kansas. She was born on December 19th, 1956 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Loreva Schartz (Friesen). She is survived by her daughters Angela Durham of McPherson, KS and Andrea Sanders of Wichita, KS; sons Joshua Durham of Sedgwick, KS and Michael Johannes of Haven, KS; brothers Mark Friesen and Leon Schartz, II; grandchildren Xzavier Torres, Brody Smith, Kayden McVicker, Conner McVicker and Piper Durham-Howard. She was preceded in death by her mother and step father Loreva and Leon Schartz. She will be remembered for her understanding and kindness to all and her deep devotion to her christian faith. She enjoyed keeping several types of house plants, knitting, bible study and loved animals. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday,

July 23rd, 2025 at Haven Baptist Church in Haven, KS beginning at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Haven Baptist Church in her memory. Mom, your love and warmth will be deeply missed.
