Debbie Lynn Walin, 59, of Hoisington, Kansas, passed away quietly in her sleep July 29, 2020 at Sterling Village in Sterling, Kansas after a long courageous battle with breast cancer.  She was born October 12, 1960 in McPherson, Kansas to Don T. Walin and Marjorie L. ( Sellers) Walin.

Debbie enjoyed collecting a number of things; Beanie Babies, Cherish Teddies and Angels were her favorite.  She also loved animals and if given the chance, she would nurse them back to health.  She also loved spending time with her family.

In 1996 while working at Venture Corporation, she met the love of her life, Danny Locke, he survives.

Debbie is also survived by; brother Brent ( Benda) Walin of Las Vegas, Nevada; Cindy Marshall of Tucson, Arizona, Patricia Pilgrim of Lawrence, Kansas, and Laura ( Sam) Green of Hutchinson, Kansas.  Other survivors include; children Ericka ( Dustin) Bortz of Hutchinson, Kansas and Jeffrey ( Brandy) Bailey of Great Bend, Kansas; four granddaughters and five grandsons; several nieces and nephew which also include great nieces and  great nephews.  She also had a lot of adopted daughters who called her Mom.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents Don and Marjorie, sister Cassie Guise, and niece Desarae Walin.

Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of life will be at a later date.
