Debra Kay Goodwin was born to Milton and Julia Stewart Stankey January 25, 1956, in Wichita, Kansas. She died at Hospice House of Hutchinson, Kansas, May 17, 2011, at the age of 55.
Debra and J. Steve Goodwin were married September 1, 2007, at their home in Hutchinson. Debra worked as a cashier for ALCO. She enjoyed her family and crafting many ornaments.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Mark Stewart.
Debra is survived by her husband, Steve, of their home; two sons, Jeremiah (Jody) Jennings and Richard (Kathleen) Jennings; daughter, Brandi (Josh) Bonilla, all of Hutchinson, Ks.; three grandchildren, Ann Marie, Sabrina, and David Jennings; two brothers, Melvin T. Stankey and Shawn Stankey, both of Hutchinson, Ks., and Terry Stankey, Haven, Ks.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, May 21, 2011, at 1 p.m. at their home, North Chemical, Hutchinson. Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Hutchinson, is in charge of arrangements.
