Debra Darlene White, 64, passed away August 26, 2015 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. The daughter of Wayne White and Lois Collins, she was born in Chanute, Kansas on May 24, 1951.

A graduate of Sterling College with a bachelor''s degree in English, she enjoyed writing poetry, reading, doing crossword puzzles, and listening to classic rock. A devoted mother, caring for her family was her top priority.

Survivor''s include 3 children Carrie Emery, George Emery, Melissa (Billy) Kuhns; her brothers, Dennis, Kim, Cameron, Reb Lee White; her sisters, Dawn Thomas, Amanda White; a stepsister, Jeannette Dwelkotte, 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, David and Doug (Robert) White.

A gathering for friends and family will be Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. In lieu of flowers the family has established the Debra D. White Family Memorial Fund and gifts may be left in care of the funeral home.
