Obituary

Dewey Admiral Benshoof, Jr., 81, passed away June 20, 2014 surrounded by his loving family, at his home in Hutchinson, Kansas. He was born December 27, 1932 in Arkansas City, Kansas, the son of Dewey and Cecil Benshoof. He owned and operated his own stucco and plaster contracting company.

He was a member of the MOOSE Lodge, enjoyed playing poker, hunting and fishing, target shooting, watching John Wayne movies, and, listening to his favorite old fashioned country and western music.

He married Marita Hardison in Hutchinson, Kansas on September 24, 1971. She passed away in 2005. Other survivors include 4 sons, Jerry Benshoof, Robert Triplett, Jack Triplett, David Purdue (Regina); 3 daughters, Rose Ayres, Tamara Mothes (Bryan), Geneva Shanks ( James), 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters (Louise, Nila, Thelma), 1 brother (Gerald), 3 infant sisters, and 1 son, (Anthony).

There will be no public visitation as cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside service at Fairlawn Burial Park on Monday June 30, 2014 at 10:00 A.M.
