Diane Michelle (McDonald) Hooks was born March 2, 1969 at Hutchinson, KS AND DIED July 22, 2012 at Golden Plains Nursing Home Hospice Care of Reno County. She was baptized on July 21, 2012 by Rev. Earline Rattiff and was saved and now resides in Heaven. La Roy Randel was Diane''s care giver before she went to the nursing home and even though he wasn''t being paid, he still went and saw her and did things for her. He is a very loving and caring person. She is preceded in death by her sister, Denise Ann (McDonald) Alvelo. Remaining family members are Mother, Grace Kelly and Step-Father, David Smith, of Hutchinson; Children, Jasmine McDonald, Newton, Richard Grissom, Jr., Oklahoma, Montez Miles, Wichita; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Diane loved to sing and liked all kinds of music; she also loved to fish and catch those 22lb wipers, and enjoyed arts and crafts. She is walking those golden streets, we will miss you! Visitation is Thursday from 1 - 8 pm at the funeral home. A graveside service is scheduled for Friday at 11 am at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson.
