On January 13, 2023, Diane Mitchell Wood passed in peace at the age of 80 in Hutchinson, Kansas.
Born February 18, 1942, Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Berryll and Ralph Mitchell, sister Nancy Beall, husband William Van Wood and eldest grandson, Mitchell Wiens.
She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth and husband Scott Brown, her grandson, Cole Brown, wife Molly and their child Misha Mitchell Brown, and her eldest Grandsons two children, Karsin Martin and Gavin Wiens.
Diane will be remembered as someone who lived life to its absolute fullest, was always ready for fun and adventure, and as a woman who exemplified compassion and kindness.
The Family will cherish Diane's memory and celebrate the beautiful life of their matriarch with a private service.
