DiAnn E. Altum, passed away May 19, 2015, at Hospice House of Reno County, Hutchinson. She was born June 5, 1950, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Ernest and LaVada Yorgensen. She had many careers throughout her life; waitress, heavy equipment operator, construction foreman, trucking dispatcher. She enjoyed the last few years being semi-retired and working part-time as a debt collector for NCA. DiAnn loved traveling, shooting pool and spending quality time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren.



She is survived by: a daughter, Kristy (Mark) Kidd; two sons, Kenny (Emily) Altum, and Mike Forsythe (Showna); three brothers, Russell, Rocky and Kim Yorgensen; two sisters, Geneen Ahrens and Sheila (Tim) Sharp; five grandchildren, Brokk (Traci) Morris, Kreighton Morris, Madison Bortz-Altum, Alex Altum and Kasik Altum; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Moreen.



A Celebration of Life will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a time of reflection at noon on Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson. In lieu of flowers, the family has established a memorial with Hospice House of Reno County, in care of the funeral home.
