Donna Marie Kidd, 71, passed away October 28, 2016 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. A lifelong resident of Hutchinson, she was born on March 8, 1945, the daughter of Loran and Velma McCown. She was a retired housekeeper having worked for various hotels in the Hutchinson area.

A graduate of Hutchinson High School, she had a passion for collecting ornate perfume bottles, and dolls, and loved listening to traditional and contemporary country music.

On October 7, 1988, she married Jimmie L. Kidd in Miami, Oklahoma. He survives. Other survivors include 3 sons, Jeffery Bishop, Mario Kidd, and, Justin Kidd, all of Hutchinson, Kansas; 1 sister, Cheryl McCown of Hutchinson, Kansas; 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 1 brother, Virgil McCown.

Per her request cremation has taken place and there will be no life celebration. It was her request that memorial gifts could be made to the Reno County Animal Shelter in the name of Donna M. Kidd.
