Donna Louise Simpson, 69, passed away July 23, 2023. She was born in Hutchinson, KS, September 19, 1953.
Donna is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Simpson, of 43 years, her daughter, Misty (James) Hernandez, brother, Junior (Janet) Bieghler, sister, Clara Kessler, grandson, Justise Jones, and granddaughters, Hannah and Madalynn Hernandez.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Nellie (McRae) Bieghler, and sister, Stella Powers.
Donna was a hardworking and compassionate person. A lifelong resident of Hutchinson, she worked the production line at Tysons and retired after 43 years. She loved spending time with her family, and pursuing her hobbies. Donna was always baking cakes, sewing for fun and patching clothes for friends and family, or reading her favorite Stephen King novels.
A celebration of life will be held at Old Mission Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS, Friday August 18, from 2:00 to 4:00pm.
