Douglas Charles Shepherd, 64, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away May 23, 2020 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas.  Douglas was born March 4, 1956 to Charles Shepherd and Gladys Catherine Baker in Portland, Oregon.

Douglas worked in food service most of his life.  In his free time he liked spending time with the grandkids.  He also liked to go fishing whenever he was feeling up to getting out to go.

Survivors are:  Sons, Cory ( Erin) Perry of Hutchinson, Kansas,  Dustin ( Kayla) Shepherd of Wichita, Kansas;  Grandchildren, (11) Casey, Braeden, Serenity, Dalton, Austin, and Ely Perry,  Lakin, Adrian, Kristopher, Caidyn, and Allie Shepherd.

Cremation has taken place.   Arrangements for a celebration of life are pending and will be announced at a later date.
