Dustin Allen Brooks, 26, died Nov. 1, 2012, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kan. He was born Jan. 8, 1986, to Larry Carter Sr. and Donna Davis in Hutchinson.

Dustin was employed in construction and enjoyed fishing and basketball. He is survived by his parents; wife, Tracie; sons, Drake, Ethan, Marcus and Jaiden; brothers, Larry Carter Jr., Nathan Carter and Rashawn Carter; sisters, Tylea Davis, Wanda Carter and Biakia Carter. Those preceding him in death were a grandmother, great-aunt, great-grandparents, an aunt and two cousins.

Cremation has taken place. A chapel service is set for Saturday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Dustin Allen Brooks Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home. Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
