Edith Virginia Manning, earned her angel wings surrounded by her sons and daughter June 29, 2017 at her home in Hutchinson, Kansas. The daughter of Arthur and Bessie Blanton, she was born April 9, 1935. Her life resident of Hutchinson, Kansas, she was a retired nurse.

She loved working in her garden, canning fruits and vegetables, and was a member of St. John Baptist Church. Her family was the center of her world!

She married Willie Manning here in Hutchinson, Kansas. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include 4 sons, Jerome, Merle, William, and Clinton; 1 daughter, Nancy; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and 1 son, Dave.

Per her request cremation has taken place and a celebration of life shall be held Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM at her home, 1411 Katie Drive, Hutchinson, Kansas.
