Edward Charles Bernia, 72, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at his residence in Hutchinson, Kansas.  He was born on October 3, 1947 in Cheyboygan, Michigan.  Ed was the previous owner of Lafayette Glass in Lakewood, Colorado, he enjoyed living lifes adventures through traveling, target shooting, hunting trips, walks on the beach and was always an extremely hard worker.

Survivors include his daughter, Kimberley Bernia; his son Jeffrey Bernia; his former spouse, Cynthia Bernia; his granddaughter Brooklyn; his sister Diana Bernia, as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Lucille, his grandparents and brothers, Robert, Richard, and Terry.

He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

The family will be holding a veterans memorial that is a pending announcement.
