Edward William Hudson, 46, passed away December 22, 2014 at his home in Hutchinson, Kansas. He was born October 5, 1968 in Hutchinson, Kansas, the son of Larry and Jennie Hudson. He worked various jobs, however, he was best known as a cook.

In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family, loved doing woodworking projects while listening to his favorite 80''s rock music.

He married Patricia Kay Saunders in Hutchinson, Kansas on March 11, 2000. She survives of the home. Other survivors include his father and step-mother, Cindy Hudson; 5 sons, Jordan (Toni), Brandon, Tyler, Dakota, and, Dalton; 1 brother, James (Pam); 2 sisters, Catherine Dill and Julie Hudson; and, 2 grandchildren, Rhylee and Karin. He was preceded in death by his mother, and paternal grandfather.

A celebration of life will take place at Westside Baptist Church, Monday, December 29, 2014 at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers the family has established the Edward W. Hudson Family Education Fund. Gifts may be left in care of Old Mission - Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas.
