Eleanor J. Ditmars, 71, loving daughter, sister, and mother, passed away February 17, 2016 at Diversicare Health Center, in Hutchinson, Kansas. The daughter of Alfred and Emily Kobielush, she was born July 28, 1944 in Medford, Wisconsin. She was a retired home health care professional.

She graduated from Westboro High School in 1962, and completed her degree from Colorado Christian University. A resident of Hutchinson since 2007, she was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Sweet Adelines.

She is survived by a loving daughter, Julie Ditmars; 2 brothers, Duane (Diane) and Calvin Kobielush; 2 sisters, Marleen (Gerald) Vogt and Debra Kobielush, a nephew, Todd Vogt and a niece, Melanie Kobielush. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, John Edward Ditmars.

Per her request cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
