Obituary
Eleanor Lee Peterson, 80, passed away May 13, 2017 at Wesley Towers in Hutchinson, Kansas. The daughter of John and Lucille Spreier, she was born in Larned, Kansas, January 12, 1937.
A retired in home day care provider, children and family were the center of her world. She enjoyed going camping and spending time in the outdoors with her husband, Gene.
On April 15, 1956 she married Eugene "Gene" E. Peterson in Larned, Kansas. He preceded her in death on March 17, 2016.
Survivors include 1 son, Greg (Janet) Peterson; 2 daughters, Connie (John) Barkley, Karen (Les) Runyan; 2 brothers, Donald and Joe Spreier; 1 sister, Shirlene Ladd; 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 10:00 Am at Wesley Towers Chapel, 700 Monterrey Plaza, Hutchinson, Kansas. In lieu of flowers the family has established the Eleanor Lee Peterson family memorial fund and gifts may be left for the family at Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas.
