E. Maxine Easter, 81, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family, February 6, 2015 at Mennonite Friendship Community, South Hutchinson, Kansas. The daughter of Alfred and Elma Daniel, she was born September 17, 1933 in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. She was a retired textile worker for Hutchinson Bag Corporation.

She loved spending time camping and taking in nature, however, taking care of her family was her priority.

On January 14, 1951 she married Robert (Bob) A. Easter in Hutchinson, Kansas. He preceded her in death January 18, 2006.

Survivors include 4 daughters Debra Riead (John), Hutchinson, Benjy Easter, Burrton, Jody Rivers (Gary) Burrton, Lynelle Fernandez (Jorge), Burrton; 1 son, James (Kathleen), Texas Creek, Colorado; 3 brothers Bud, Sonny, Jack Daniel; 2 sisters Leona Dauber, Marie Russell, 18 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, 2 sisters, and, 1 brother, 6 grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson. Celebration of life will be Monday, February 9, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the First Church of God, 7th and Jefferson, Hutchinson, Kansas. Burial will follow in Burrton Cemetery, Burrton, Kansas. Memorials may be given to Rivercross Hospice in care of the funeral home.
