Esther Rose Thrasher, 96, passed away May 26, 2012 at Hospice House of Reno County. She was born in Dundee, KS on November 5, 1915 Henry & Katherine Schroeder. She was a cook by trade and a loving Mother and friend to all. In April 1936 she married Benjamin Thrasher. He preceded her in death on December 27, 1984.
She is survived by daughters, Sherry Bowman, Carolyn Price, Karen Bertrand, Linda Settles, Marieta Thrasher; sons, Gary Wayne Thrasher, Cliford Thrasher; sisters, Alice Miller, Ethyl Dills; brothers Bethel Schroeder, Howard Schroeder; 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 1:30 pm at Fairlawn Burial Park with Tim Yates presiding. There will be no public visitation. Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation services is in charge of the arrangements.
