Obituary

Freddie L. Hoefer, 92, passed away July 2, 2025, at Reno County Hospice House. He was born in Hutchinson on November 18, 1932, to Elmer Hoefer and Verna Chase.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, working on cars and tinkering around in the garage. He worked at Cessna/Eaton for 35 years.

Freddie is survived by his wife Betty J. Hoefer, children Vickie Hoefer, Kenny (Shelly) Hoefer, Darla Corkins and Larry Hoefer, 8 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren and sister Wanda Alls of Seymour, Tenn.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Elmer and Verna, brother Zorby, sisters Betty Lou Knarr, Ruthie White, Thelma Klotz (Amelia), Midge Sinclair, Judy Cole and son in law Larry Corkins.

Visitation will be 10:00AM - 1:00PM Monday July 14, 2025 at Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home with graveside services to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery  at 2:00PM.

Lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Salvation Army or Hospice House of Reno County.
