Gairl Wayne Powers , 57, passed away December 2, 2021, at the Hospice House in Hutchinson, KS. His life interests were hunting, fishing and playing pool. He is survived by his mother Donatti Smith; 2 sisters, Christina and Stacy Powers ; 2 nieces, Amanda and Candace McGee and 4 great nieces, Emma McGee, Natalie, Christina and Chloe Davilla all of Hutchinson, KS. Gairl also is survived by his devoted companion Cora Baxter of Hutchinson, KS. Cremation has taken place. Old Mission Heritage funeral home is in charge of arrangements. There is a memorial service scheduled at Liberty Lounge for Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 2 pm with a pool tournament after the service in his honor. All proceeds will go to the family to help pay for funeral expenses.
