Gale Maurene Woods born December 1, 1943, passed away on April 3, 2025, at the age of 81. She was preceded in death by her parents Theodore Stam and Ruby May Baker. Gale grew up in Norwich where she graduated from Norwich High School. Later she moved to Hutchinson, KS where she worked for a local photographer and had a beloved cat Bugsy of 17 years. Gale leaves behind no immediate family but her memory will be quietly cherished by those that knew her. She will be remembered for kind spirit and the quiet life she led. Graveside services will be at the Upchurch Cemetery April 11, 2025, at 1:00pm. Memorials can be made to the Hutchinson Public Library in care of Old Mission Heritage Funeral Home.
