Gary Babson, born on December 12, 1944, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2024, at the age of 79.

Gary was a devoted husband to Beth Babson for 43 years until her passing. He was the father of five children: Terry Sterling, Kenny Sterling, David Babson, Teresa Carithers, and Lea Ann Babson. He had seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. After Beth's passing, he remarried Sue Babson, who was with him for his final 18 years. Gary also had a living sister, Judy (Joe) Black, and brother, Chris (Billie) Babson.

Gary was an accomplished auto mechanic. He owned and operated his own salvage yard. In his spare time, Gary loved to attend car shows, go to the movies, play cards, and watch old TV westerns.

Gary will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

A celebration of Gary's life will be held at a later date.
