Gayla Beth Lauber, 61, passed away on January 6, 2021 in McPherson, KS. On January 8, 1959, Gayla was born to Matthew and Barbara Rohr. On October 29, 1988, Gayla married Johnny Lauber, whom she spent the rest of life with. She loved working at Abundant Life Day Care. Gayla was a proud member and volunteer of VFW Post #1361, an auxiliary icon, and a proud wife of a veteran.

Gayla was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew and Barbara Rohr and son, Terry Thomas.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Lauber; 3 sisters, Wednesday Wagner, Sonia Rohr, and Melinda Bemiss; 2 brothers, Kyle (Desiree) McMallen-Rohr and Kelly (Kim) Rohr; 1 daughter, D-Lisa Roberts-Beasley; 3 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Celebration of Life will be held following cremation at the VFW Post #1361.

In lieu of flowers, family would like memorials sent to Veteran of Foreign Wars, 328 N Van Buren St, Hutchinson, KS 67501 and left in care of Old Mission Heritage Funeral Home.
