Geraldine Kay ( Pickett )  Maddox, 63, of Kanopolis, Kansas, passed away peacefully May 4, 2020, with her family at her side at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas.

Geraldine was born November 13, 1956 to Thomas M. Pickett, Sr., and Beatrice J.  ( Turner ) Pickett in Salina, Kansas.  She was the youngest sibling of four.

Her passions included family, plants, and camping.  She loved spending time and going camping with her family.  She could grow just about any plant.  She took great pride in her Iris's and Amaryllis.  She enjoyed doing crosswords and puzzles to pass the time.

Geraldine married her childhood sweetheart Kenneth Maddox in September of 1987.  They welcomed a daughter in August of 1985.

Geraldine was preceded in death by both parents and her sister Stephanie Andreason.

She is survived by her husband Ken Maddox of Kanopolis, Kansas; daughter Misty ( Daniel) Rose of Rock, Kansas; sister Ola ( Steve) Nulik of Burden, Kansas; brother Tom ( Linda) Pickett of Kanopolis, Kansas; brother-in-law Bob Andreason of Salina, Kansas; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
