Gloria Sue Brown was born May 29, 1961 in Lyons, Kansas.  She passed away may 23, 2020 in Hutchinson, Kansas at the age of 58.  The child of Darlene Sue Hensley and Terry Dwane Hensley, she is survived by both parents, her brother Terry Joe Hensley, her sister Lisa June Graf, her husband John David Brown, her daughter Wendy Sue Uphoff, and her granddaughter.  She moved often in her childhood but a piece of her heart always belonged to the Midwest, especially Kansas.  Gloria worked in the school system as a para-educator in the Pinon Hills, Lyons, and Hutchinson school systems.  Following that, she worked taking care of people through Disability Supports and Tech.  Gloria enjoyed art, music, and nature.  She could often be seen feeding stray cats.  She brought color, joy, and love into the world and will be greatly missed.

A gathering of friends and family will be held Sunday, June 14, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. at 1505 Forrest Street, Hutchinson, Kansas.
