Guy H. Oliver, 85, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away on August 16, 2025. He was born on September 14, 1939, in Mankato, Kansas, to Guy H. Oliver Sr. and Dorothy Oliver.

Guy dedicated 35 years of service to the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT), where he worked as a supervisor. Outside of his career, he enjoyed golfing, playing pool, traveling, and hunting—pursuits that reflected his love of the outdoors and time spent with family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Patsy C. Oliver; his sister, Carol Peters; children: Michael (Heather) McCoy, Pam (Kerry) Plum, Michelle Carr, and Mark (Carol) McCoy. He also leaves behind a lasting legacy through his 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Guy was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and one sister.

He will be remembered for his strength, warmth, and dedication to those he loved.
